Campaign Related terms

  • Organic Promotions: Promotions that doesn’t involve a fee to be paid to a platform. All it cost is human effort.

  • Impressions: Conveys the number of times customers viewed your advertisement

  • Click Through Rate: Number of people that click on an advertisement vs the total number of people who saw the advertisement

  • Conversion Rate: The percentage of people who completes the desired action after clicking the advertisement

  • Marketing Qualified Lead(MQL): Leads from marketing that have expressed a positive reaction

  • Cost Per Click(CPC): The amount that a business owner has to pay when a customer clicks on an advertisement

  • Re-Marketing: Showing ads to a person who has identified to be interested in a service/product


Website Related

  • Analytics: Tool that help us to understand the behavior of people visiting your website

  • Bounce Rate: Percentage of visitors who has returned from a website by just viewing a single page in a visit. The less the bounce rate, the good is the relevance

  • Call-to-action: usually a button or a content that prompt users to make an action

  • Pixel: A snippet of code that is inserted into website for tracking purposes.
